In Color Studios partnered with Glitch Studios to produce a social-media video series for Hot Topic. The project combined live-action performance with animation and motion graphics for short-form delivery.

Creative Approach

Pre-production focused on concise visual beats, flexible performance moments, and planned spaces for animated overlays. Storyboards and pacing references helped the live-action footage and graphic treatment work together.

Social-First Production

The crew used adaptable lighting, lightweight camera movement, and multi-camera coverage to capture spontaneous performance moments. The full-service production workflow supported vertical and horizontal formats without changing the existing campaign concept.

Animation and Post-Production

Glitch Studios added character-driven animation, kinetic typography, and graphic transitions. Editing, sound, color, and motion design were coordinated so the final pieces retained a consistent Hot Topic visual style.

Flexible Deliverables

The campaign included short cuts for social platforms and longer edits for broader use. Each version was prepared to preserve pacing, legibility, and brand consistency across placements.
