Henry Meds engaged In Color Studios to produce a high-priority educational video demonstrating their intracavernous injection (ICP) treatment for erectile dysfunction. The project demanded clinical accuracy, empathetic tone, and strict legal compliance, so our approach emphasized collaboration, precision, and discretion from pre-production through delivery.

From the outset we partnered closely with Henry Meds’ clinical team and legal counsel to define scope, messaging, and allowable on-camera detail. Script development was iterative — clinicians validated procedural language while attorneys reviewed consent wording, on-screen disclaimers, and distribution limitations. This dual-review loop ensured the final script remained medically accurate and legally defensible without sacrificing clarity.
Casting targeted on-screen talent who could convey calm authority and authenticity. We ran focused casting sessions and prepared talent briefings addressing clinical context, privacy expectations, and on-set protocols. For demonstration sequences requiring hands-on interaction, trained actors and clinicians followed strict hygiene and safety procedures to maintain professional, respectful conditions.
Production was tightly controlled and meticulously planned. A comprehensive shot list mapped every insert, cutaway, and instructional angle: macro close-ups of instrument handling, labeled props, clinician hand positioning, and wider conversational frames between provider and patient. Live TelePrompters were used for clinician dialogue to maintain natural cadence and reduce retakes, while enabling on-set medical reviewers to confirm phrasing in real time.
Camera and lighting choices prioritized clarity and neutrality. We used macro-capable lenses for crisp inserts and balanced lighting for true-to-tone color reproduction, ensuring viewers clearly see technique without unnecessary graphic detail. Audio design emphasized clarity and calm; interview-style framing and paced edits supported comprehension.
Post-production included clinical and legal compliance checks, precise copy review for medical claims, and multiple revision rounds to guarantee accuracy and appropriate tone. Deliverables encompassed a primary patient-facing explainer, clinician-oriented educational cuts, and shorter edits optimized for controlled digital distribution.
Throughout the project, transparent documentation, iterative approvals, and close collaboration with Henry Meds and their attorneys were central. The result is a compliant, compassionate, and highly instructional video that supports patient education while meeting the rigorous standards required for medical communications.
